The incident occurred on the Simitli - Kresna road in the area of the inns. The driver of the car failed to react in time to the sudden landslide of earth and rock mass, which resulted in a serious impact. According to initial information from the medical teams, several ambulances were sent to the scene. Passengers in the car were injured and were transported to the nearest hospital for emergency care.

Teams from the “Traffic Police“, the Fire Department and the “Road Infrastructure Agency“ (API) are already operating on the scene. Traffic is being regulated in a timely manner, with traffic being carried out in both directions in only one lane. Kilometer-long columns of waiting vehicles in the area immediately began to form in the direction of the border with Greece.
