There is no immediate threat to Bulgaria's national security in connection with the situation in the Middle East. This was reported to Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, who called a working meeting this morning with the participation of the Ministers of Defense Atanas Zapryanov and Ministers of Transport and Communications Georgi Gvozdeikov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Maria Dimitrova, Chief of Defense Emil Eftimov, as well as representatives of the security services, announced by the Council of Ministers.

The government is closely monitoring the development of the situation and is ready to take further action if necessary. "Our main task is to preserve the life and health of Bulgarian citizens in the region," Prime Minister Glavchev said. So far, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not received any requests for evacuation. At this stage, there is no need to convene the Security Council at the Security Council.

Bulgaria is deeply disturbed by the unacceptable Iranian attack on Israel. This is an unprecedented escalation that poses a serious threat to regional security. This is stated in a position of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, published earlier today on the social network "Ex".
