This is what the political scientist Lyubomir Stefanov commented before the BNR about the complicated political situation in the country. To him, this once again seems like an escape from responsibility.
According to him, the proposal to hear the ministers in the parliament is exotic and it would further distort the campaign. It would be very healthy for MPs to take a leave of absence to campaign, the political scientist expressed his opinion in an interview for the program "Before All".
"The National Assembly did not appoint this cabinet to accept his resignation. If someone is going to depose the prime minister, it is the president - the Constitution is explicit", he commented.
Asked if the president will sign the decrees for the requested changes in the official cabinet, Stefanov replied that it depends on the conversation between the acting Prime Minister Glavchev and President Radev. In his words, it all comes down to common sense. If the arguments are clear, they should be respected, he believes.
However, according to him, if there is something of substance that bothers Mr. Glavchev, then he should tell the general public.
Success has many fathers, the political scientist also reminded and emphasized that the responsibility for the official cabinet rests with the political representation. Political responsibility is in the hands of the politicians, he was categorical. However, according to him, a party cabinet should not be allowed.
"I don't see a civilized approach to a campaign that is supposed to be purifying. One degree will rise again, a "political feather" and responsibility will be diluted. The citizens are not fooled at all by this political cacophony, it is very clear to them, they will sanction on June 9".
The elections in June will clarify the picture, predicts Lyubomir Stefanov. According to him, the citizens are not ready to again "have fun with luxury again and again to go to elections in 6 months". He is adamant that a meaningful political conversation should be held with the audience, not a "Machlensky" one.
In his words, there will probably be a new type of coalition after the elections. The parties will get results as a result of meaningful narratives and messages, he noted.
"Those politicians who sense the growing anger among citizens and manage to quell it and direct it in a constructive direction will be the winners. Others who will again play with emotions, sharpen blades that should not be crossed, and draw lines in the sand that should not be crossed, will be punished. The conversation "not with this one, not with that one" it won't happen a second time. Politicians must make a political narrative that leads to political measures, and this is taking responsibility," the political scientist summarized.
According to him, the state needs momentum and a healthy break from political ambitions.
