Citizens report dead dolphins on the beach in Kranevo, Nova TV reported. The carcasses of the marine mammals were spotted a few days ago.
In publications on social networks, local residents claim that they have filed a report with the Regional Environment and Water Inspection (RIOSV) in Varna, but for the moment there has been no response.
The Institute of Oceanology in Varna informs that the dolphins are of the porpoise species, which is found near the coast, and it is not unusual for single dead specimens to surface. Often baby dolphins starve to death if the mother dies, and the sea discards their bodies.
