Specialized police operation against drug production and drug distribution was conducted today in Radomirsko. The actions involved officers from the “Criminal Police“ at RU – Radomir and the “Special Tactical Actions“ in ODMVR – Pennik.
In the course of the action, the forensic experts carried out an inspection in a farmyard in the village of Dolna Dikanya and in the building of a former dairy they discovered four rooms adapted for growing plants of the hemp type - specially equipped with lamps, air conditioners and with built-in ventilation.
p>During the procedural and investigative actions, a total of over 370 plants were seized, some of them with inflorescences, others – without, as well as about 200 smaller, type seedlings. In other rooms of the building, used lamps, empty tubes of preparations and sacks with a peat-soil mixture were found.
The two men found in the property were detained with a police warrant for up to 24 hours – A 49-year-old from Sofia and a 55-year-old from Primorsko. Fast-track proceedings were initiated in the case. The case materials are to be reported to the District Prosecutor's Office - Pernik. Actions on the investigation are ongoing.
