My deepest condolences to the family of the deceased driver.
The NSO car with which we were going to Varna this evening crashed at the entrance to Aksakovo. I was riding in the back seat of the car and I only had to pass the air, but I wasn't really hurt.
Ambulances came very quickly to the scene, as well as the firefighters, who managed to cut the car open very professionally to get the victims out.
I also want to thank those who in the first minutes managed to find a lever and together we opened the doors and reached the people.
This is what the co-chairman of the PP Kiril Petkov wrote on his Facebook page after the car in which he was traveling crashed earlier today. Here is more from Petkov's post:/ without editorial intervention/
Thanks to the two employees from the NSO, with whom we opened the doors together and they were adequate, even though they also had some injuries.
In reality, however, without the professional equipment and skills of the firefighters, we could not have coped.
I gave my word to the fire crew that these specialized tools that they had should be in every fire engine because I found out that some have them and some don't. I promise I will do everything to provide them!
Now I also went to the hospital where the woman is currently admitted. I spoke with the neurosurgeon who informed me that the head injury appeared to be non-life threatening.
I pray to God and other traumas not to endanger her life. I have given my phone number to the director of the hospital if I need any assistance, we can have personal contact and they can call me anytime.
The medical staff at the hospital were great professionals and I thank them for the immediate help they gave the woman.
Sincere condolences to his daughter, family and loved ones. I will try to contact them tomorrow, and give them any help they need.
I will stop my election campaign until I am sure that everything that depends on me to help the victims and the family is done.
Thanks for the hundreds of calls. May God forgive the man!
