Yesterday Kostadin Kostadinov visited the village of Oresh, Svishtovsk Region, due to a report from citizens that GERB-Svishtov wanted to close the school in the village, where many children are educated .

"If the school is closed, the village is threatened with depopulation. We from "Revival" however, we will not allow it. As early as Monday, I will ask for a conversation with the Minister of Education to tell him categorically that the school is staying," Kostadinov said to the worried residents he met yesterday in the village.

He added that this is how Bulgaria was brought to a demographic crisis, and people were forced to migrate internally to the big cities or abroad.

"When you close the school, you condemn the settlement to destruction, you kill the village. This is exactly what GERB is doing - they are killing the smallest territorial unit - the village, which has historically been of primary importance for the preservation of our country, providing the population with a living. That is why we will fight for this village, for this school and for every other one that we can save and preserve from those in power", added Kostadinov.
