„He who falls fighting for freedom, he does not die. A deep bow to all those who died for the freedom of Bulgaria. Long live Bulgaria"! This was stated by Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev in his speech during the solemn pilgrimage to Mount Okolchitsa in commemoration of the Day of Botev and those who died for the freedom and independence of Bulgaria. The event was traditionally attended by thousands of citizens who came to pay their respects to the memory of the heroes, reports the press center of the Council of Ministers.
Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev climbed up to Mount Okolchitsa on foot from the village of Pavolche together with a group from the Bulgarian Tourist Union and students participating in the 76th National Walk “In the Footsteps of the Boteva Troop”. The Prime Minister also bowed at the front seat of Hristo Botev.
