Lack of quorum due to vacations and sick leave failed the meeting of the Judicial College of the Supreme Judicial Council. Thus, members of the collegium failed to discuss a report on the activities of the commission they created to investigate the participation of judges in the activities of the group around Martin Bojanov – The notary. The collegium created this commission at the beginning of February, 2 weeks after Bojanov's murder, when suddenly the institutions noticed the “broker“ his activity in the judiciary, illuminated long before both by magistrates and by an investigation by the ACF.

The chairwoman of the Supreme Court of Cassation Galina Zakharova, Tsvetinka Pashkunova, Olga Kerelska, Daniela Marcheva, Atanaska Disheva and Boyan Magdalinchev appeared for the session today. In order to have a quorum, however, 8 members of the council are needed.

Five ended up on leave – the chairman of the Supreme Administrative Court Georgi Cholakov (he is absent for extraordinary personal reasons), Boyan Novanski, Sevdalin Mavrov, Dragomir Koyadzhikov and Stefan Grozdev. And Veronika Imova is absent due to sick leave.

Thus, all agenda items were postponed until the next meeting on Tuesday, June 11.

The commission from the College of Judges wants its mandate, which was until May 20, to be extended until the end of September. On June 19, Veselin Denkov is expected to be heard. He is the husband of Ivayla Bakalova, who, in an interview with ACF, highlighted Bojanov as a court broker precisely in connection with a case against Denkov.

It is already known that members of the council have long been aware of Bojanov's activities. “There are 20 cases against him. He is a fraud!“. It says on February 25, 2020, ie. more than 4 years ago, at the address of Martin Bojanov – The notary, the member of the Supreme Judicial Council, Boyan Novanski. His reply is from a meeting of the Judicial College of the Supreme Judicial Council, which on that day heard judges Vladislava Tsarigradska and Tsvetko Lazarov in connection with their claims of pressure exerted on them by Bojanov's group.
