"Dogan is gone. His period is over. DPS became like other parties. Ahmed Dogan has been running the DPS for 35 years with puppets. Where is Jevdet Chakarov? He's supposed to be a leader, but he didn't get anywhere. They are waiting for orders from Dogan".

This is how Rafet Ulutürk, chairman of the largest emigrant organization "Bultürk", commented on the processes taking place in the Movement for Rights and Freedoms.

"Ahmed Dogan has been running the DPS for 35 years with puppets.

Think (for Peevski - note.ed.) that this is Kasim Dahl, Lutvi Mestan, Karadai...

I congratulate Peevski, who said that as soon as Dogan appointed him chairman, he would be in charge.

Where is Cevdet Chakarov, Rafet Ulutürk asked.

"He is supposed to be a leader, but he did not go anywhere. They are waiting for orders from Dogan".

No Bulgarian party deals with the problems of the Turks in the villages, Ulutürk pointed out in the show "First of all". and explained that this is the reason for the success of DPS in areas with a compact Turkish population.

"DPS is not an ethnic party. Bulgarian parties are ethnic.

No Bulgarian party accepts the Turks. Not a single deputy chairman of a party is Turkish".

He pointed out that people in the villages are still afraid of the Revival process.

"No Bulgarian party can go and say that that time has passed".

Rafet Ulutürk, however, clarified that the attitude of the party organizations towards the Bulgarian citizens is not much different.

"In Bulgaria, the problem is that the parties do not work for the Bulgarian citizens.
