Ivan Takov: Bonev and "Save Sofia" wanted to feudalize the transport companies

Mayor Terziev called TsGM a "black hole", and the councilors from his political group are today defending the previous leadership - when are they sincere, asked the chairman of BSP - Sofia and the group of socialists in SOS

Boris Bonev and "Save Sofia" they wanted to feudalize the transport companies.

This was stated by Ivan Takov, chairman of the BSP - Sofia and the group of socialists in the SOS. He made the comment during today's session, the agenda of which included reports on the public election of members of the Board of Directors and Supervisory Boards of the municipal commercial companies "Center for Urban Mobility" EAD, "Metropolitan Electric Transport" EAD, "Metropolitan Motor Vehicles" EAD, "Metropolitan" EAD, "Toplofikatsia Sofia" EAD and "Sofinvest" EAD. On behalf of the Local Coalition group "BSP for Bulgaria" Ivan Takov insisted that Prof. Dr. Eng. Stoyan Bratoev remain in the leadership of "Metropolitan" EAD until holding a competition for new management. And Vanya Grigorova formulated the request to be recorded in the report and then they supported it.

"Mayor Terziev and PP-DB-SS came to the Capital Municipality with requests and promises to fight corruption, and how many audits were done in these 8 months from the beginning of the current mandate, asked Ivan Takov in his speech in the hall. - There are other questions - why is this change being carried out only now, given that the mandates of these commercial companies have expired a long time ago? Recently, Mayor Terziev called the City Council a "black hole", and the councilors from his political group today strongly defended the current leadership. When are they sincere - when they explain that they will stop the schemes to drain the companies and the municipality or when they tear their shirts in support of the current managers of these companies? The love of the "anti-corruption fighter" seems extremely strange. Boris Bonev to the current leadership of the CGM, on whose back he built the entire election campaign last year".

Ivan Takov added that the fight against the GERB model, which the BSP has been leading for years, in Sofia is going through an immediate change of management of the municipal companies. And any proposal other than that means supporting the status quo. "It was precisely in support of the status quo that all the cries of the municipal councilors from the PP-DB-SS in the session hall today, also commented Ivan Takov, who is the chairman of the Committee on Transport and Road Safety in the SOS. - Today it became clear to everyone that a group of pseudo saviors, perpetuators and democrats, who came to manage the SO with a request for transparency, very quickly became satisfied with the status quo. Arranged like kebab cats around the transport table, the counselors from "Save Sofia" for months, they can do nothing but wreak havoc and ruin in the city.

A few months ago, these same saviors, together with PP and DB, held talks with the other groups in SOS, including us, and insisted on replacing the managements of the municipal companies with temporary ones until new ones are elected by competition.

It was their idea. Today they were tearing their shirts right against the report with this proposal. This is how it turned out, because they decided to finally feudalize the transport system in the Metropolitan Municipality. And precisely against the feudalization of municipal companies, the BSP has been fighting for years, and there was no way we would allow this to continue. Let it be clear to everyone - the Local Coalition group "BSP for Bulgaria" does not participate in any economic or behind-the-scenes majorities. We will always be corrective to the follies and atrocities of every mayor's administration and incompetent majority in SOS".
