While we are counting the deputies of the DPS, the world around us is changing. This is what he said in “Face to face“ the journalist Asen Genov.
According to him, “we learn about some dramatic events in the world not from our politicians, but from social media posts of foreign leaders“.

„In the editorial offices of the media, there should already be a "Political Seismology" department, and journalists should measure the amplitudes of earthquakes. How dangerous they are depends on how we look at them. That I observe is that during the tremors in the DPS, an attempt is again made to bring in the ethnic element”, he explained.
The journalist does not agree with the thesis that “one person – Ahmed Dogan is the guarantor of ethnic peace in Bulgaria. According to him, there was pressure from outside – from Turkey, to register this party. That is why, for him, “the question of the actual role of DPS in Bulgarian politics remains unresolved”.

Asen Genov also commented on the NATO meeting in the USA.
We focus on our problems, but this is something very important. Hungary made a strong bid that seems to be on the backburner. It was said that during Hungary's EU presidency, the first chapter for negotiations with North Macedonia will be opened, he added.

The journalist also drew attention to the fact that next week Ursula von der Leyen's candidacy for EC president will be voted on.
