An unextinguished fas caused a fire in Rosenets Park, located near the summer residence of the honorary leader of the Movement for rights and freedoms (DPS) Ahmed Dogan.
According to information from the "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population" Directorate; in Burgas, the flames mainly affected dry grass and bushes in the area, informs NOVA.
Commissioner Nikolay Nikolaev, director of the Burgas fire department, reported that the fire was contained, but it spread to the yard of a house in the town of Kameno.
Additionally, fires have also broken out in the areas around the villages of Rosen and Karnobat, complicating efforts to extinguish the flames.
High temperatures and wind make extinguishing difficult
The situation is complicated by the high temperatures, which near the sea reached 38 degrees, and the strong wind, which fanned the fire and made it difficult for the firefighters to work. Despite the difficulties, teams continue to fight the flames to prevent further spread and possible damage to settlements and the environment.
Meeting of Ahmed Dogan and Jevdet Chakarov in the midst of the fire
Ironically, today the honorary chairman of the DPS Ahmed Dogan is meeting with the co-chairman of the party Jevdet Chakarov in his summer residence in Rosenets Park. The meeting is taking place against the background of the fire that broke out and the efforts to control it. So far, there is no information about a direct threat to the residence or the persons present at the meeting.
