Dogan has sent a letter with a call to respect the decisions of the DPS conference, according to which the co-presidents have equal weight - to make decisions together. This happens two days before the draft cabinet vote. Peevski probably made the single-handed decision to support the GERB-SDS mandate. And in any normal party, this is decided by the leadership.

In his words, the traditional DPS, which has almost a 35-year history, stands behind Dogan. "The party was distinguished by a certain style of behavior and manner. They changed with Peevski, who is a highly controversial figure. People are attached to the way of behavior that characterizes DPS, so they support Dogan. Peevski, on the other hand, remains a foreign body from the point of view of tradition", comments Prof. Marinov. He defined the performance of the official cabinet as "not particularly impressive". And he rejected the hypothesis that President Radev would decide to terminate his mandate and turn to the executive power, creating a party.
According to him, Dogan made a statement - that he does not see the possibility of a stable cabinet and the DPS does not want power. "If the PP-DB expresses a desire to try to form a cabinet and asks for more time, I see no reason why the president should refuse. A government, even a relatively normal one, cannot be formed in this parliament. The groups may break up, but the lineup is pretty much the same. The positions are changing, but the 180 degree turns will be unfavorable for the parties. PP-DB had a strange idea of a technical government. "Probably if they understand each other, they will share details," he pointed out.
