PP-DB gave statements to the media after the meeting with President Rumen Radev. "We proposed to the president a plan to try to get out of the political crisis by removing the systemic preconditions about her", said Bozhidar Bojanov, quoted by Dariknews.bg.
"If the declaration is not supported - we will return the mandate very quickly, and if it is supported - we have to see if there is a majority. On declarations, everyone wants to reform the prosecutor's office, services, etc., this would require time, maybe about three months," Bojanov also said.
He added that PP-DB will seek support from everyone. "We will ask for a broad majority to support this declaration so that no one is left behind. At least 160 votes will be needed for support," he said. Bojanov said that the adoption of these laws is a precondition for starting talks. For this reason, they do not have a primecandidate. Bojanov added that it is the president's decision whether he is ready to wait for the coalition for three months.
According to him, the declaration will be sent to the people's representatives today.
We have decided that if the mandate is given this week - it will be returned unfulfilled" , said Kiril Petkov. According to him, they are skeptical that there is such a majority. "The real test is the real vote, what is the point of proposing ministers and a prime minister at the moment, if there is no working anti-corruption body, who will monitor these ministers to see if they do their job," added Petkov.
