A train hit a car that violated light and sound signaling at a railway crossing on the way to Bozhentsi today at noon, it was confirmed for BTA from the press center of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Gabrovo (OD of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Gabrovo).
No people were injured, only minor material damage is available.
The incident was reported at around 12:15 p.m. on phone number 112.
According to initial information, the car did not comply with the available sound and light signaling and illegally entered the railway crossing.
During the collision, the train set hit the back of the car with its buffers, said the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Gabrovo.
The cause of the accident will be determined at a later stage, added the police.
Movement from and to the Museum of architectural-historical reserve "Bozhentsi" takes place normally.
