Stanimir Ilchev: DPS was a difficult partner

Additional senses are needed to communicate with DPS

„All partnerships are difficult. DPS was a difficult partner. We only pretend that we know everything about Bulgarian society, about the delicate attitudes in the psyche of people from different ethnic communities. This was stated by the chairman of the NDSV, Stanimir Ilchev, in the program “Offensive with Lyubo Ognyanov” on NOVA NEWS.

According to him, communication with traffic police requires additional senses – “so as not to enter a space that is not yours without them declaring it their own. Second – if you enter, let it be no more than one step so that you can withdraw delicately as in some classical dances.

He recounted an incident with a letter from NATO headquarters in Brussels. Then our ambassador informed that some Western partners are very angry because Bulgaria is hiding a military formation. Neither Foreign Minister Solomon Passy nor military officer Nikolay Svinarov were aware of such a case. It turned out that a Bulgarian general and his colleagues decided to delay the re-registration of Transport Troops and turn them into a state company, as was the fate of Construction Troops and the Troops of the Telecommunications Committee. From there it was concluded that Bulgaria did it deliberately and 4,000 soldiers are in the barracks with uniforms and weapons. Then, in the external committee, there was a remark from Yunal Lutfi, which showed tension in the Triple Coalition, added Ilchev.
