Vasil Tonchev: I have no doubt that the third mandate will go to the BSP. I don't expect him to be successful

"Radev's options for acting prime minister will be Dimitar Glavchev and Raya Nazaryan. His choice is simply non-existent - the house book has been reduced to just two names", the sociologist also commented

I have no doubt that the third mandate will go to the BSP – President Rumen Radev has not forgotten where he came from in politics. Unless there are other special reasons for not doing so. The BSP remained the systemic party that could open the most doors. I do not expect this mandate to be successful. It is not serious, if you have 15-20 deputies, to want to be a mandate holder and create a majority. This is what the sociologist Vasil Tonchev said on the air of NovaNews, quoted by novini.bg

„However, discussions can be held to build bridges between the main political forces. I don't see how the elections will change the situation, at least with what we have on the ground. Everyone will have to negotiate in the same terms as they are now. Ways can be found as long as there are competent politicians and leaders, he believes.

According to him, the most important thing that should be prioritized are the Eurozone and Schengen: “This was the big mistake of the PP-DB, who did not prioritize it during the rotation, but put the appointments in the regulators and the judicial system.“
„Consolidation on the left will be helpful. We need a new, vibrant, experienced leader to do it. That is why the election of a new chairman of the BSP will be important. To become modern, the left must become completely different. It's not what it used to be. Where are the working people? They are in Sofia, in the field of information technology, and there are no bridges between them and BSP. “We continue the change” is much closer and to the left in this sense than the BSP is. And Vanya Grigorova didn't make it either”, he added.

Tonchev is adamant that only the president can change the situation with a possible party of his.

On the occasion of the appointment of Nikolay Nenchev as the temporary manager of our embassy in Ukraine, the sociologist defines the situation as "another quarrel on an interpersonal basis, which is completely unnecessary": "Unfortunately, it is not the principles and policies, but the interpersonal decisions that emerge. . We know it has been offered before, but the president has rejected it. It's not normal to not have an ambassador there either – this shows the mess at the top of our politics."

„Radev's options for acting prime minister will be Dimitar Glavchev and Raya Nazaryan. His choice is simply none – the home book has been reduced to just two names“, he also commented.

According to him, the cabinet received a bad legacy, so there was no way to deal with the fires with the stock they had.
