„The chief architect of Sofia Zdravko Zdravkov did not resign himself. He was asked or he was fired. In the document signed by the mayor Vasil Terziev, the reason for the release is that there is an agreed compensation. This was stated by Anton Hekimyan, a municipal councilor from GERB-SDS in the program “The Live Day” on NOVA NEWS.
The acting chief architect (Bogdana Panayotova) of Sofia was appointed to Zdravkov's team at 6 o'clock, without his knowledge, Hekimyan explained.
„The session of the Sofia municipality, which should take place tomorrow, is completely illegal,” said the municipal councilor from GERB-SDS.
He explained that the mayor, Vasil Terziev, issued an act requesting that the vote for the six municipal companies be re-voted. “It is not even an order, he is sending a letter. The regional governor quite rightly revokes this act of the mayor. There is no longer such an act for the re-voting of the boards of these companies and for the competitions that are to be held, said the municipal councilor.
Hekimyan explained that his colleague Boris Bonev wanted to hold the contests for the selection of management of municipal companies. “He most likely wanted to keep these manuals for an unknown period. The same ones for which for years he explained how these companies do not work well, there are no personnel there, those personnel were at GERB, Hekimyan believes.
According to him, this point could have been considered at the previous session of the Municipal Council – last for the season.
He believes that there is another violation of the rules of the Municipality. “Today, both my colleagues and I received an SMS that tomorrow there will be a meeting of several committees, which is not according to the rules. These commissions are convened by their chairpersons, Hekimyan specified.
He explained that the expenditure publication had been taken down from the website of the Metropolitan Municipality. According to the data, between January and June, BGN 5 million and 100,000 were spent on business trips of the mayor of Sofia and municipal councilors. Another 2.2 million BGN were paid for legal services. “The Metropolitan Municipality has a legal department”, said Hekimyan and asked what this money was spent on.
The management of Sofia by PP-DB-„Save Sofia” is a mistake. Whoever goes to this session will be illegal, Hekimyan claims. “For these 9 months, I see only battles for power, for posts, for control of the Municipality. “We Continue the Change” it can be rechristened “We continue the Metamorphosis”, added Anton Hekimyan.
