An elderly man was beaten in Nova Zagora in front of his home by two people. Hospitalization was required. Relatives of the man commented to NOVA that, according to them, it was an attempted murder.
„I was walking down the street and it was raining. They attacked me through a house. "They suddenly jumped on me, hitting me in the face," pensioner Zivko said. According to him, the attackers are strangers, not local. “I didn't expect it at all. I know the neighborhood, we all help each other”, Zivko also said.
No injuries other than the face. The prosecutor's office confirmed that it is monitoring the case, pending police interviews of witnesses.
