Are the mayor Vasil Terziev and his deputy for finance Ivan Vasilev deliberately leading the municipal transport companies to bankruptcy. This is what Vanya Grigorova, deputy chairman of the Local Coalition group "BSP for Bulgaria" asked. in SOS. As a member of the Standing Committee on Transport and Road Safety, she visited the "Malashevtsi" garage. and met some of the workers there.

"Due to a lack of basic spare parts, such as a DPF filter, for example, which is replaced every 280,000 km, relatively new, low-floor, air-conditioned, Euro 06 buses stand on the parking lot, and on the streets of Sofia they move rotten, almost broken down , heavily depreciated vehicles, she commented. - And against this background, one month after the vote in the SOS, Mayor Terziev has still not transferred BGN 5 million to "Metropolitan Transport". EAD. And they are insufficient, but at least they are voted. We can't help but ask ourselves: Are municipal companies deliberately leading to bankruptcy?".

Vanya Grigorova added that "Capital motor transport" At the end of May this year, EAD had BGN 15.6 million in arrears, and the total liabilities were BGN 19.5 million. Of these, BGN 3.5 million were only overdue liabilities for spare parts. "13 buses are waiting for gearboxes, they are not in motion. In total, there are 126 buses with the same mileage in the three garages, i.e. it will not be unexpected that all of them will soon run out of gears, explained Vanya Grigorova. - Some of the buses need new exhaust manifolds.

The first ones start to crack 3-4 years ago. All these spare parts can be planned because manufacturers know when they wear out. But there is no money, which is why relatively new buses sit in the garages and wait for someone to think that it is not bad to maintain the property of the municipality. And this must be done on time, because some of these repairs take two weeks per bus.

Vanya Grigorova added that even if these BGN 5 million were transferred immediately, it would take a long time to prepare the buses for traffic.

"Why didn't Mayor Terziev and his deputy for finance Vasilev transfer the voted BGN 5 million loan for a whole month? To bleed the municipal company even more? Those workers still working there should also leave, she asked rhetorically. - There is money, since the capital program is not implemented. Nothing that they are elite managers".
