Meanwhile, Montana recorded 40.3 degrees in the shade on Tuesday.

“The highest temperature in the city was recorded on August 26, 2012. – 40.8. We almost beat that record. In the morning hours these days, we measure about 22 degrees, which is quite a lot," explained Lenochka Angelova, director of the Hydrometeorological Observatory in Montana.
