With thermal cameras, experts detect the temperature around the buildings. In places, the degrees reach 70 degrees. The experiment draws attention to the problem of the increasingly disappearing greenery in cities.
Meanwhile, Montana recorded 40.3 degrees in the shade on Tuesday.
“The highest temperature in the city was recorded on August 26, 2012. – 40.8. We almost beat that record. In the morning hours these days, we measure about 22 degrees, which is quite a lot," explained Lenochka Angelova, director of the Hydrometeorological Observatory in Montana.
