The Official Minister of Internal Affairs Kalin Stoyanov has not received an invitation to be a minister in the next official cabinet. This is what he told journalists in Koprivshtitsa.
Stoyanov is in the city to inaugurate the restored Police Department, BTA reports.
Earlier today, Prime Minister nominee Gorica Grancharova-Kozhareva was at a meeting at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where she was welcomed by Minister Kalin Stoyanov.
At around noon, on her initiative, a meeting was held with the professional leadership of the ministry, Kalin Stoyanov specified and added that he and the other members of the political cabinet were not present at this meeting. As far as I understand, Kozhareva has listened to absolutely every regional director individually about what has been achieved, what the results are, what the problems are and possibly the ways to solve them, he said.
Immediately after the meeting with the professional leadership, the future caretaker prime minister asked for a meeting with the political leadership as well, I and the three deputy ministers were there, Kalin Stoyanov also pointed out. According to him, the meeting was professional. Some additional analyzes and reports were required, which will be provided in the following days, the minister explained.
I have not received an invitation, talks were held mainly with the professional management, he said in response to a question about whether he had received an invitation to participate in the next official cabinet.
