The deputies extended their meeting until all the fixed points for the day were exhausted, including the hearing of four ministers about the drought in places in the country. At the moment, the people's representatives are on the second item of the agenda set for today, which includes a total of nine items.

The proposal to extend working hours made by Alexander Nenkov (GERB-SDS) was first rejected, and in a re-vote after checking the quorum – accepted.

Nadezhda Yordanova (“We continue the change-Democratic Bulgaria”) objected to the extension of working hours, because it makes it impossible to hold meetings of parliamentary committees, including the one on the activities of Martin Bojanov-Notary. She noted that four hearings are scheduled for today in the commission, including those of Delyan Peevski and Tsvetan Vasilev. Yordanova noted that the administration of the parliament did not provide equipment for recording the hearing of Tsvetan Vassilev and the deputies brought a personal one.

Georgi Georgiev (GERB-SDS) commented that corruption cannot be fought by walking around the parliament with loudspeakers. He called on the deputies to do their work on the bills and then to meet the committees.

After the adoption of the proposal to extend the working hours during the re-voting, Nadezhda Yordanova's request to extend the working hours only until the completion of the current item - the first reading of changes to the Environmental Protection Act - was not put to a vote.

Later, a new quorum check requested by "Vazrazhdane" found that there was no quorum and a 10-minute break was given, writes BTA.
