After banker Tsvetan Vassilev's statements about the bankruptcy of Corporate Commercial Bank yesterday and loans related to DPS Chairman Delyan Peevski, DPS MPs who support its Honorary Chairman Ahmed Dogan and are not members of the Movement's parliamentary group, called on the Acting Prosecutor General to take concrete action against Peevski.
Timur Halilov stated:
"Will the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Bulgaria take action to bring charges against Delyan Peevski and request to lift his immunity. This is an issue that greatly concerns society and is key to trust in institutions. Vassilev's testimony requires a clear decision regarding Peevski's role in the events surrounding KTB.
As a political force, we have an obligation to emphasize that the KTB case is not just a matter of draining a bank, it is a symbol of abuse of power, impunity and the merging of political and economic power in the hands of a few.

"Colleagues, the pro-Russian proxies that attacked me are over. Moscow will not command Bulgaria!".
