The two DPS cannot be registered by the CEC with their names from yesterday. There is no way there can be two registered parties with the abbreviation DPS. For me, the case will be referred to YOU and we are yet to witness new serious dramas. We cannot find any logic in the two DPS coalitions from yesterday. There are over 200 political parties registered in Bulgaria, but most of them are hollow and serve only for mandate holders.
This is what he said in the show "The Day Live" on Nova News, the political scientist Assoc. Milen Ljubenov, who commented on the political upheavals in the country.
"The party system in Bulgaria is exhausted. Trust in her too. The biggest proof is the low voter turnout, which we will have in the upcoming elections as well. The future will show what will happen and where Bulgaria will go - whether to the modern West or to authoritarian regimes like in Hungary. For me, next year we will go to early elections again. "I don't see how a stable and sustainable government can be achieved in this fragmented parliament," he predicted.
"For me, the problems with PP-DB are due to the lists. They are currently 3 to 1 in favor of PP. It seems that "Yes, Bulgaria" they do not feel comfortable in this coalition. They failed to send an MEP to Brussels and clearly feel damaged. So far we have heard from the PP-DB that there should be a prime minister who is equally distant from all parties, but it should also be said which parties will support this government. There are coalition agreements everywhere in Europe and this is the working option. For me, with the BSP, the same situation as the DPS can occur - to have two registered BSPs for the elections. If this happens, most probably neither of the two BSPs will enter the parliament. At the moment, the BSP is saving itself from the low voter turnout, because with 80,000 votes you can enter the parliament. If there is not a high voter turnout, the BSP may quite easily not get into the parliament. The problem in Bulgaria is leadership", Assoc. Ljubenov was emphatic.
