At the root of all problems is the lack of dialogue , first of all, he is missing in politics. This was stated by former Prime Minister Stefan Yanev in the studio of "The Day ON AIR".
"We've seen in the last few years, this is the seventh election in a row, almost always the campaign talk is all about accusations and finger-pointing. When the elections are over and the NA is formed, this rhetoric continues from the rostrum of the NA, there is no way this tone can change in 24 hours and talk about specific ideas and what to do in the next 2-3-4 years. The wringing of arms , finding various tools for political coercion - this does not work", comments Yanev.
In his words, when politics relies on pressure, there is no way to get to working policies and programs.
According to the former prime minister, new texts in the electoral legislation should ensure that every vote cast in the elections will be counted when the result is counted.
"The bought vote is a convenient whistle through which the steam escapes. But the question is how the electoral commissions work, at the municipal level, the CEC in this whole process. The role of the Ministry of the Interior is not to monitor what the election administration is doing in the voting room, what the commission is doing, the role of the Ministry of the Interior is outside the commission," emphasized Stefan Yanev.
The guest is convinced that there are problems not only in DPS and BSP, but in every single party there is a healing process.
"The parties got caught up in their self-sufficiency of the party elites at the top who are loudest and most active. They began to live their own lives, not the lives of their members, sympathizers and voters. The parties do not listen to their voters. They hear their own voice, for one it's the noise of money, for another it's the media appearance. They don't hear what needs to be done for the people," Yanev is convinced.
Yanev's party "Bulgarian Rise" will appear in the elections for the 51st National Assembly independently.
