The traffic is loaded at the truck exit of the checkpoint "Durankulak" and border checkpoint ''Kardam''.
The directorate reminds that due to major repairs on the Bulgarian section of the Danube Bridge near Ruse, a temporary traffic organization has been introduced, with traffic being carried out in one lane with a through mode and regulated by traffic lights. In addition to the Ruse checkpoint, drivers in the region can also go to the Silistra checkpoint, Kardam checkpoint, Durankulak checkpoint, Kaynardzha checkpoint. and "Krushari" border crossing. The last two are open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., trucks are not allowed to pass through them.
On the border with Greece, traffic is normal at all border checkpoints. On the border with the Republic of Serbia, traffic is normal at all border checkpoints.
On the border with the Republic of North Macedonia, traffic is normal at all border checkpoints.
On August 26, at the Gueshevo border crossing started the implementation of activities under a contract related to the construction of the EU Entry/Exit System, the "Border Police" recalled. The cabins for border checks of passing trucks will be dismantled and replaced with new ones. Temporarily, the traffic of passing trucks will be diverted through the lanes for the passing of passenger cars. Certain difficulties are possible when crossing the Gueshevo border crossing.
