A 3-year-old child died after being hit by a car. The incident occurred shortly after 6:00 p.m. in the village of Debelt in Burgas, BNT reported.
A 38-year-old Burgas resident hit a girl while driving on an unpaved road in the village. She was taken towards Burgas in her parents' car. On the way, they met with the emergency team that arrived at the signal.
However, the medical team confirmed the child's death and took his body for an autopsy to the Burgas University Hospital.
The driver of the car was tested for alcohol and drugs, and both tests were negative. A blood sample was taken from him. He was detained for up to 24 hours. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case.
