On November 15, the duty crew of a C-27J “Spartan“ from the Vrazhdebna Air Base provided air transport from Sofia to Varna and back for medical teams from the Medical Academy - Sofia and UMBAL “Alexandrovska“ with a donor situation created for organ transplantation, NOVA reported.
The plane took off at 07:00 a.m. and landed at Varna airport at 07:50 a.m. At 12:30 p.m., the plane landed back at Sofia airport, and the task of transporting the medical teams was successfully completed.
The crew was activated by order of the Chief of Defense Admiral Emil Eftimov at the request of the Ministry of Health.
