Two truck drivers died in an accident in Lukovitsko this night, Gabriela Todorova reported to BTA , spokesperson of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Lovech.
About 2:20 this night on the main road I-3 in the area between Lukovit and the village of Petrevene, two trucks with attached semi-trailers collided. Both drivers – 59 and 28 years old are foreign citizens. After the collision between the vehicles, the drivers were taken for examination and treatment in Pleven, but died a little later.
A pre-trial proceeding has been initiated and the reasons for the incident are being clarified under the supervision of the District Prosecutor's Office – Lovech.
At the moment, traffic on the road has been restored.
