Water banned for consumption in a village near Harmanli

The water company must provide water for the population with water carriers

The water in the Harmanli village of Biser is restricted for drinking and cooking due to elevated manganese values, announced the RHI – Haskovo.

During the last sampling from the Water and Sewerage Service – Haskovo, manganese values of 147 ± 15 µg/l were recorded at a maximum allowable value of 50 µg/l.

Therefore, a ban on the use of the water is imposed until the discrepancies in the „manganese“ indicator are eliminated.

The water company must provide water for the population with water carriers.
