Divers pulled nearly 15 scooters, fishing stools, tires and various glass and plastic waste from the bottom in the area of the Sea Station in Varna.
Volunteers from the “Scuba4stars“ diving club, part of the “Rodni Balkani“ Tourist Association in the city, joined the sea cleaning campaign.
The chairman of the association, Kamen Kukurov, specified that the depth of the water in the cleaned area is between 8 and 10 meters, BTA reports.
17 divers took part in the campaign.
Kukurov added that volunteers from the association are also cleaning the ravine in the park in the “Vazrazhdane“ neighborhood today. Since the terrain is difficult, they work in an alpine manner.
