On 12.05.2025, on the territory of the city of Vratsa and the region, SANS officers, together with bodies of the Ministry of Interior, conducted a specialized operation under the leadership and supervision of the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office. The actions are in connection with the initiated pre-trial proceedings under Art. 108 of the Criminal Code.
So far, actions have been carried out to search and seize the addresses of three Bulgarian citizens where they resided. Coordination with partner services and Europol was carried out during the preparation of the operation.
At the moment, the persons who are involved in the numerous groups in several social networks in which neo-Nazi, racist and xenophobic ideology is being spread, as well as calls for violence and joining paramilitary formations are being identified. The groups were created by individuals from other European Union and NATO member states, and one of them is ideologically linked to a neo-Nazi organization included in the anti-terrorist lists of the Council of the European Union, Australia, the United Kingdom, New Zealand and the United States.
The procedural and investigative actions in the case continue.
