A signal was received from Municipal Security officers that a man had been found on the north side of the tunnel on Tsar Boris III Obedinitel Blvd. in Plovdiv, who had stated that he was going to jump, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the city announced.
Police and fire brigade teams were immediately dispatched there, and traffic on the boulevard has been stopped in both directions in the area between Shesti Septemvri Blvd. and the extension to Ponedelnik Market.
Traffic is being redirected to bypass routes.
