A pet pit bull attacked and seriously injured a 4-year-old child in the capital's "Nadezhda" neighborhood.
The incident occurred after the girl and her grandmother went to visit a neighbor. As soon as they entered, the dog attacked the child, who miraculously survived and is seriously injured. Several surgeries were also required.
„My daughter was with her grandmother. My neighbor Evelina always invited my child to visit. The two decided to go and knocked on the door. Eve asked them to wait so she could take the dog home. She only let Miroslava into the hallway and closed the door, while her grandmother stayed outside. Then the owner released the dog, which directly attacked my child”, explained the mother Miglena.
The 4-year-old girl has a torn muscle, and the injury was a centimeter away from an artery. The aggressive animal almost pierced the child's liver, and his arm was also torn.
The doctors who operated on little Miroslava told her mother that the pit bull wanted to kill her child.
“I managed to get out when Eva lay on top of the dog”, explained the bitten girl.
