I expect the parameters that Bulgaria sent to the European Commission to be recognized by the European institutions and to receive a positive report. This was stated to journalists by Vice President Iliana Yotova in Pazardzhik, where she participated in the city's celebration, a reporter for "Focus" reported.

According to her, the convergence report has very strict criteria with which the progress and readiness of a country is assessed, whether it is ready to introduce the euro as an official currency or not. "We must roll up our sleeves and get Bulgaria out of the crisis as soon as possible, to increase people's incomes, to welcome the euro, since this is the decision of our country, with as few restrictions as possible damages", Yotova commented.

"As for President Rumen Radev's motives, wait, he will return very soon from Japan and I think there will be a sequel“, she also said regarding the president's intention to refer the matter to the Constitutional Court.

The Vice President expressed hope that Boyko Borisov will not organize a pre-election battle for early elections in Sofia after the 15 million leva allocated for public transport.
