The partial disaster situation continues in the three Nova Zagora villages of Byal Kladenets, Pet Mogili and Novoselets. The situation is worst in Byal Kladenets, where there is damage in almost every home and yard.
Roof tiles were blown away, windows were broken and trees fell everywhere. The greatest losses were for farmers.
The Regional Directorate for Combating Hailstones provided parameters of the cloud that fell on these villages. It was huge - 12 km high and 20 km wide.
However, the villages with the most damage are not within the reach of anti-hail protection. There is no missile site built nearby.
The inspections and description of the damage from the hail in the affected villages continue.
In June last year, eight villages in Nova Zagora and the municipal center were hit by hail. The damage was extensive in the city, where dozens of cars had broken windows and bent metal sheets, electrical wires were cut, roofs and buildings were damaged, branches were broken, and the streets were clogged with leaves.
