Divers will clean the port of Sozopol. At the beginning of the season, volunteers from various clubs join forces to collect waste in the waters and along the coast.
The divers are already preparing for the upcoming diving and cleaning of the seabed. Dozens of volunteer divers from Sozopol and Varna will take part in the campaign, who will dedicate their personal time and funds, BNT reports.
Volunteers from the Institute of Oceanology in Varna will also take part in the campaign. The goal of this initiative is to make the area cleaner and safer for both people and marine life.
A large amount of waste is expected to be collected from the seabed, as experience from previous years shows that the most car tires are dumped here.
