I congratulate those who are freely expressing their opinion today. My cause as president is democracy and I want people to be heard. The entire debate within a month shows that people want their voice to be heard. This is how President Rumen Radev commented on today's protest by “Vazrazhdane” against the adoption of the euro in our country, quoted by novini.bg.

”I am against any violence and forceful measures at the protest. I call for a peaceful protest”, he emphasized.
”It is clear that the black hole of the oligarchy is swallowing the Bulgarian political system. This undoubtedly has its repercussions. Here it is already a question of the freedom of Bulgarian citizens, to have the power to oppose these negative processes. The way is a new political alternative that will oppose the conquest of the country by this oligarchic model, the racketeering on business, which will restore democracy and give a new democratic perspective to the country. This will come from the people who want their voice to be heard and to whom the authorities do not pay attention – and they are already raising their voices”, he announced, but did not answer whether he would create such a party.
