A tourist bus overturned near Bozhentsi. The incident occurred at around 3 p.m. today.
The bus, which has a Varna registration, was carrying 31 passengers, who were not injured, the Gabrovo Regional Department of Internal Affairs and Communications told bTV.
For reasons that are currently unclear, the bus went off the road and overturned into a ditch. The passengers were unable to get out on their own, which required the intervention of the fire department.
Gabrovo Emergency Rescue Teams examined the passengers, who escaped with only a scare. The road is temporarily closed to traffic, with no alternative route.
The passengers have already been transported to Bozhentsi. The driver's alcohol tests are negative. Police teams are on site.
