One person died and four were injured in a serious traffic accident that occurred today at around 4:45 p.m. on the Burgas-Sredets road. This was reported by the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the seaside town, quoted by BTA.
In the area of the junction for the village of Konstantinovo, two passenger cars - a "Mercedes" and a "Honda", both with Burgas registration plates, collided head-on.
According to initial data, the "Honda" suddenly entered the oncoming lane. A woman died in the traffic accident. Her identity is currently being established.
Traffic in the area has been suspended, a detour route is being used to Burgas - through the village of Konstantinovo and the village of Polski Izvor, and to Sredets - through the village of Cherni Vrah and the village of Polski Izvor.
