Another road drama shook the area of the "Humata" stop near Pleven, where young Siyana tragically died some time ago.
Today, shortly after 10:30 a.m., a road patrol performing a routine control reported a new traffic accident, which once again drew attention to this dangerous area.
According to initial data, the collision occurred between a passenger car driven by a 74-year-old driver and a heavy truck with Romanian registration.
The investigation indicates that an incorrect maneuver during overtaking caused the accident - the passenger car tried to overtake the truck, but hit it from the left. Fortunately, this time the incident passed without serious consequences.
Two women traveling in the car suffered minor injuries and were examined on site by a medical team. There is no danger to their lives.
The traffic situation in the area was temporarily regulated by police officers, who directed traffic and ensured the safety of other road users.
The alcohol and drug tests of the two drivers showed negative results, the Ministry of Interior reported.
The guilty driver has been administratively sanctioned, and law enforcement agencies remind all drivers to be especially careful in this area, which has previously been the scene of serious accidents.
