Psychotherapist Teodora Angelova: Violence is what is destructive

Aggression is a normal human reaction

Aggression is a normal human reaction, and violence is something that is deconstructive. It takes us out of our human nature. What is happening in our country is a manifestation not of aggression, but of violence. This is how psychotherapist Teodora Angelova commented on the horror houses in our country and the behavior of the so-called locales.

About the horror houses, she said: "Adults are sent there by their children, who themselves are already adults. They haven't seen their parents for several years", Angelova recalled.

The reason for the behavior of the locales, according to her, is the need for a sense of belonging: "That's why they look for such types of groups. They are afraid of being in the victim's shoes and want to belong to a group that makes them strong and gives them a sense of significance.

According to her, such individuals begin to "feed" on violence, thereby getting their adrenaline pumping.
