Prosecutor's son Vasil Mihaylov, who has been declared a national wanted man, has announced that he will surrender as soon as possible. "I will surrender with a lawyer, as is his due, as soon as possible", he said in an interview with Martin Karbovski, broadcast on YouTube.
He did not specify when he intends to do so.
"I will go to the First Police Station and say "hello, I understand that you were looking for me" and I will surrender", he added.
Mihaylov also says that the Ministry of Interior wanted to "cook him". "Everything is fine with me, except that the whole country is looking for me", commented the wanted man.
And he admitted that he was guilty of things he did three years ago, but he was already a changed man.
His father Biser Mihaylov also called for him to surrender. "Vasile, surrender and prove your claims that you are not guilty", he urged him. And he explained to Nova TV that he did not know where his son was.
He did not recognize anything from the room where the 30-minute YouTube video was made, in which the "prosecutor's son" explained his version of the events that led to his nationwide search. In the video, he claims that he is innocent and that he is drunk.
