Kaloyan Metodiev: We urgently need a plan for border security

We cannot tolerate an invasion of a refugee wave, he pointed out

Things in the Middle East are escalating. War and instability are spreading like an avalanche. Refugee crises often follow from such major events. And the flows are mainly heading towards the European Union. The largest land border between Asia and the EU is the Bulgarian-Turkish one - 259 km. Forests, mountains - difficult to guard. Plus a country with non-working institutions. The Greeks built an impenetrable fence (zero entries), and ours in comparison stands like a rusty prop. I have been writing about ours for 15 years - I have endured insults and insults. A lot of valuable time has been wasted and many human lives, including police ones, have been lost. This was commented on by Kaloyan Metodiev, a member of the Executive Council of “Unruly Bulgaria“ and he adds:

In this context, the state is clearly on autopilot. It looks like a run-down yard. The president has not convened the National Security Council for years, in violation of the law. He did not convene it for the Covid crisis, for the war in Ukraine, for Gaza, for 5% of GDP for defense.... He is currently not convening it for the Israel-Iran war. What more can be done?

The government was elected with falsified election results, mired in lies, incompetence and daily scandals. Made up of morally degraded subjects and straw ministers.

The Speaker of the Parliament violated all possible legal and moral norms, and the highlight was that she abandoned our compatriots fleeing Iran at the Baku airport.

Most of the opposition is dishonest, runs around the hall fighting, often has the wrong role, collaborates with the mafia government and does not produce anything meaningful.

Against this background, the security of people and businesses is at risk. The National Security Council must be convened urgently (no matter fear - not fear, like - dislike, sick ego or pride) to develop a plan for border security. Let there be a real result. This is national security in action! We cannot tolerate an invasion of a wave of refugees. Urgent measures must be taken in the summer. Preventively, not post factum as most often happens. The people, social systems and the economy need security and tranquility above all.
