On 24.06.2025. at around 13.00 an incident was recorded with a 49-year-old employee of the GPU - Petrich, the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
He was found by a colleague in his office with a gunshot wound to the head and with signs of life. A signal was immediately sent to the emergency service 112. An ambulance from the Southwestern Hospital arrived on the scene, the employee was transported to the Central Emergency Center - Petrich.
According to information from the Central Emergency Center, he died in the hospital.
According to initial data, it is a suicide.
