With these words, Minister of Foreign Affairs Georg Georgiev addressed his guest – the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Albusaidhi.
He is in Bulgaria on an official visit at the invitation of Georgiev. “In these fragile times of global instability and conflicts not only in Ukraine as a result of Russian aggression, but also in the Middle East region, it is important that we manage to build bridges and invest in initiatives for peace and stability that bring the countries even closer together.
Because there are many similarities between Bulgaria and Oman. Just as Bulgaria is a country with a balanced foreign policy that strives to contribute to regional security, so is Oman in the Gulf region and the entire Middle East“, Georgiev also stated and emphasized that our country highly appreciates the efforts that the Sultanate of Oman is making to establish a long-lasting and lasting peace in the region. A peace that will contribute to economic development and good trade relations.
