The prosecutor's office agrees that Delyan Peevski should be registered as the sole chairman of the "Movement for Rights and Freedoms" party. The state prosecution's position was expressed during the court hearing on the case for registering the changes in the party's leadership.

Before the court, MRF lawyers Alexander Angelov and Svetoslav Panov presented a request for the registration of the changes, 11 binders with documents for the convening and holding of the 12th National Conference of MRF.
Within a few weeks, the Sofia City Court is expected to rule on the request for Delyan Peevski to be registered as the sole chairman, which also includes changes to the party's statute and address.
On May 30, the Sofia City Court received a request from Delyan Peevski to register the resignation of Dzhevdet Chakarov as chairman of MRF in the Register of Political Parties.
Due to the rejection of the appeal, the Supreme Court of Cassation suspended the proceedings in the case related to changes in the MRF. The case reached the final instance, after an appeal against decisions of the Sofia City Court on an application for entry of changes in the Register of Political Parties under the account of "Movement for Rights and Freedoms".
