This was another doomed vote of no confidence, which the opposition submits with the clear knowledge that it will not pass. This is done to waste the time of the National Assembly, but in fact the time of the members of parliament is being wasted. This was stated by the deputy chairwoman of the GERB-SDF parliamentary group Denitsa Sacheva on the sidelines of the National Assembly after the unsuccessful third vote of no confidence, quoted by "Focus".
"While the opposition continues with these senseless actions, Bulgarian citizens should know that the opposition continues to take high salaries and in practice do so that there is nothing that is useful for them", she also said.
Asked if the government is Delyan Peevski's, she replied: "The government is of GERB-SDF, of BSP-United Left and "There is such a people". It could only fall if it had 121 votes, the opposition does not have them".
She asked why the PP-DB hid and did not support the cabinet.
Denitsa Sacheva stated that GERB leader Boyko Borisov was not present during the vote due to "meetings at the party headquarters with our European partners".
"The government's focus is on real, genuine work, not votes of no confidence", Sacheva stated.
